The ‘Maison Des Mondes Africains’, literally the ‘House of the African Worlds’, has just opened in Paris. It is described as a new space of artistic expression and exchange between Africa and its diasporas. Its inaugural exhibition, ‘Noire’, is signed by French-Cameroonian artist Roxane Mbanga, whose work delves into the themes of black identity, resistance and representation.
