Virat Kohli officially confirms participation in World Cup 2027 with a motivational post

Former India captain Virat Kohli shared a cryptic post on social media ahead of the three-match ODI series against Australia, which is set to begin on Sunday, October 19. Kohli’s post went viral amid speculation about his place in the squad for the 2027 ICC ODI World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Kohli returned to the Indian team after almost seven months for the upcoming three-match ODI series. He has not played for the Men in Blue since winning the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy in the UAE. The right-handed batsman now only plays in One Day Internationals (ODIs) after retiring from Tests and T20 Internationals.
